Cable & Track Repair
Broken cables and damaged tracks stop your door cold — we get it moving again fast.
Why Cables & Tracks Fail
Garage door cables work alongside your springs to lift and lower the door safely. Over time, cables fray from constant tension and friction, while tracks can bend from impact or shift out of alignment. When either fails, the door can jam, hang crooked, or fall — creating a serious safety hazard.
Signs You Need Cable or Track Repair
- Door hangs crooked — one side sits lower than the other
- Door stuck halfway — won't open or close completely
- Grinding or scraping noise — metal-on-metal contact from misaligned tracks
- Cable hanging loose — visible slack or frayed cable on one side
- Door came off the tracks — rollers have jumped out of the rail
- Visible dents or bends in the vertical or horizontal track
⚠️ Don't force a jammed door. If your door is off-track or a cable has snapped, forcing it open or closed can cause further damage and risk injury. Call us for a safe repair.
